Matthew Womack
Pastor
Matthew and Courtney Womack moved to Port Elizabeth in June 2022. In October 2022 Matthew became the pastor of Solid Rock Baptist Church.
Before becoming pastor at SRBC, Matthew was the youth director at Carrollton Baptist Temple, Ohio, USA, where he had many roles. He not only assisted with the church services and music ministry, ran the youth programs and bus ministry but also was a teacher in the Christian school. Matthew grew up with a very godly and transparent example to follow as his father was a pastor for most of his childhood.
In his free time, he loves playing pickleball, golfing, hiking with his family and making memories with his wife, Courtney, and their 3 children.

Pastor's Heart
Matthew’s vision for Solid Rock Baptist Church is to be a place where truth is proclaimed, friendships are made, and lives are changed for the Lord. Jesus Christ does the changing of lives, we are just to be His willing instruments to tell others. Matthew's desire for Solid Rock Baptist Church is to train and equip others to fulfill The Great Commission to "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel..."
